Please read EVERYTHING on this page, and the readme.txt before you email me with questions. Most likely your answer is here somewhere, and I don't have time to answer lots of repetetive email. ;)

The spellcraft-v2.xx.zip file contains everything but the VCL libraries. If you're upgrading from version 1.x, unzip spellcraft-v2.xx.zip to a new directory (will create a subdirectory called spellcraft by default, so you may want to rename the old one first). Then, copy vcl35.bpl and vclx35.bpl from the old directory into the new one. If this is the first time you've downloaded the program, download spellcraft-dlls.zip, which contains those two files.

Contains the VCL libraries. You only need this if you're getting errors about missing DLLs.

Q: I get an error about missing dlls/program components etc. What's wrong?
A: You need BOTH of the above files if you're downloading for the first time.

Q: There's a bug! This cloth armor's imbue points are wrong.
A: Most cloth armor is bugged in the game. Generally it's the odd AFs (15, 25, etc), which are one point low. The only thing that can be done is hope that Mythic decides to fix it, and double check cloth armor in the meantime.

Q: Why am I getting errors about not being able to open gemdata.txt, someotherfile.txt, etc?
A: You probably didn't extract the archive with the directory structure intact. If you're using WinZip, open the zip file, and use the extract button, don't just drag the files into a folder.

Please just link to theharms.org/daoc/sc-calc.php instead of mirroring the files yourself. It makes it much easier to make sure everyone is getting the latest files, and reduces the emails I get about dead bugs.
